ABOUT LICET

A decision should outlive
the people who made it.

More useful automation. Clear permission. Human responsibility.

Platforms increasingly delegate consequential work to automated systems and AI agents: what people see, which content enters review, and what happens to an account. More capability does not, by itself, answer who authorized that work or where the permission ends.

licet is building authorization infrastructure for those decisions. Its record connects the institution’s reasoning, the permitted scope, the conditions, the named risk acceptor and the date the decision must be revisited.

The aim is to make more useful delegation possible without losing the human judgment behind it. A decision should remain examinable after the meeting ends and the people who made it have moved on.
